Sejong

Sejong, founded in 2007 to promote balanced national development, takes its name from King Sejong the Great, the inventor of Hangul, the Korean alphabet. It has emerged as a hub for important institutions, including ministries relocated from Seoul, with the city's construction expected to be completed by 2030 when all government offices will have made the transition.
